On September 20th, 2025, I delivered a speech in both Korean and English at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Battle of Masan Western Region (마산 서부지역 전투 추모식 및 전승기념식). The event took place at Hakdong Village (학동 마을) at the foot of Seobuksan Mountain (서북산). It commemorated the more than 1,000 US and Korean war dead from this battle and especially Captain Robert Lee Timmons, who was killed in Seobuksan and who was the father of Richard Franklin Timmons (former 8th Army Commander).
